Yes, but price is cheaper if your departure is realized from aircraft homebase, a bit more expensive from an airport usually operated by the Team, and shall be quoted case by case on other airports. Do not hesitate to ask us.
You must be at least 16 years old to participate in a Fouga Magister Team flight. There is no maximum age limit, but everyone must have amedical examination.
Yes, for safety reasons, a medical examination is required before the flight. A medical certificate less than one year old and mentioning « Absence of contraindication for performance of jet fighter flight » will be required. The medical examination shall include an electrocardiogram if passenger is more than 65 years old.All the details are available in the Medical Conditions section.
Are there are medical conditions which may restrict participation in a jet fighter flight?
In the absence of direct contraindication, your jet pilot will adapt the flight profile to your will, from a smooth ballad above the countryside to a flight in dogfight conditions.
Is a Fouga Magister flight dangerous?
No, such flightsare performed with aircraft designed for aerobatics, maintained as per rigourous standards, in full respect of regulation, under survey of DGAC (French Civil Aviation Authorities)… and conducted by the best pilots!
Please also note Fouga Magister is a twin engine aircraft: it limits dramatically possible consequences of a technical problem. Even in case of engine shutdown, a Fouga Magister can land smoothly.
Is there a risk of being ill during the flight?
Aerobatics may incur travel sickness. You can bring a travel sickness medication (scopolamine is known as the most efficient, but not sold in France, or nautamine) and take it before the flight. Anyhow, your jet pilot will be careful, will ask you if you are OK, and decrease the flight rythm if you feel uncomfortable.
Am I insured to participate to a Fouga Magister Team flight?
Yes, by participating in a Fouga Magister Team flight you are automatically insured, up to the sum of 115,000 € per person.
We would however advise you to check the provisions of your personal insurance policies (restrictions regarding sporting and aeronautical activities).
If you wish, we can propose an extension of cover for you, up to 300,000 € per person.
What can I take on board?
We suggest you avoid taking any object on board. Please not any object you will embark shall fit in the pockets of your flight coverall suit.
Two cameras can be installed in your jet fighter aircraft to ensure you will keep a strong souvenir of this unique experience (see Options for more details).
How should I prepare myself for the jet fighter flight?
You need to get a good night’s sleep before the day of the flight, and eat a normal breakfast or lunch before arriving (avoid fat products).
You will be provided with a set coverall suit, so you do not need to wear any particular clothing, just plan underwears in accordance with weather of the day.
I you wear glasses and they do not slide when you move your head, no problem, you shall not lose them during the flight. Otherwise, plan to take a lace to fix your glasses, or leave them on the ground.
